Banefus Gomes is from Solepur village Munshigonj,Bangladesh. After completing his A level from Bangladesh, he went to Lebanon in 1997 to Start His Culinary Journey. He is belongs from Teachers Family. He is son of David Gomes and Stella Gomes.His father was Teacher and Mother was Housewife. He have 2 Brothers And 2 Sisters, All of them He is elder son of his family. From 1997 in Lebanon, He worked Crown International Hotel, Dubai 2002-2004, Arabian Courtyard Hotel and Spa, Dubai 2004-2009, Yas Island Rotana Hotel, Abu Dhabi 2009-2014. On 2010 he was joined Ramada Encore Hotel, Doha Qatar (Wyndham hotel Group) As A Executive Sous Chef.
In 2014 he came back to Bangladesh and joined Long Beach suites Dhaka As A Executive Sous Chef. Then joined Executive Sous Chef (June 2015 to August 2018) Four points by Sheraton Dhaka Gulshan Starwood Marriot Hotels & Resort Senior Sous Chef (November 2018 to March 2021) Intercontinental Hotels & Resorts Dhaka Executive Chef (April 2021 to Feb 2023) Dhaka Regency Hotels & Resorts Now He joined Executive Chef (March 1st 2023 to till Date) Holiday Inn Dhaka City Centre In Professional He completed 2005 – Successfully completed food hygiene Basics from BLQ Consultants in Dubai, UAE. 2012- Successfully Completed food Safety Course (Level 2) from Boecker Food Safety Doha Qatar. 2015- Successfully Completed Super vising food Safety Course (Level 3 Award) CIEH (Charter Institute of Environmental Health) Dhaka Bangla desh In Doha He achieved the people’s choice award for the year 2012 at Ramada Encore Hotel Doha and At the same time he got associate of the month at Ramada Encore Hotel in Doha 2011.
He was nominated as Asso ciate of the month in July 2005 & February 2006 at Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa in Dubai. Also of the month Award Winner at Arabian Court yard Hotel & Spa in Dubai March 2008.He was nominated as Service Legend Award of the year at Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa in Dubai in 2008 & 2009. He has also done a good few reality cooking shows with Maasranga TV and Chef Banefus Gomes is a great cook and expert as he has 25 years of His various achievements in the culinary world keep on going till now.
