Palak Chatterjee

Palak Chatterjee is a culinary professional who started his career as a marketing executive but later decided to follow his passion and is now the owner of a cloud kitchen cum café. Palak developed interest in cooking at a very early age, being inspired by his mother, who is passionate about cooking. He completed his BBA degree in 2010 and started his career as a Marketing executive. Soon he realized this is not what he intends to do. In 2012, he got an opportunity to work as a cook in a hotel, where he continued till 2014. During that time, he realized that a degree in culinary science is essential. In the same year, he enrolled himself for a Masters in Hotel Management. In 2015, he joined The Latit Great Eastern Hotel, Kolkata as a part of his industrial training. Based on his performance, they offered him to join their hotel soon after he completed his Masters degree, which was in 2016. In 2017, he joined Elegant Group of Hotels, Riyadh (KSA) as a CDP. He was with them for 2 years and came back to India during the end of 2019. 2020 was a year hit with Covid-19, which forced him to stay back in India. During the end of the year, he joined a restaurant in Kolkata as a Senior CDP. In the middle of 2021, he started his won cloud kitchen cum café, which primarily offers Continental cuisine and Anglo cuisine, which has always been his preference. Palak has been awarded with the title “The Rising Foodpreneurs” in 2022 by The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industries (India). He also has been recognised with the membership of World Chef Choice Federation, Chef Association of West Bengal, and World Association of Master Chef. He has had the opportunity to judge The Best Chef of Burdwan, Mirchi Ilish Mash, and WFC 2023. He has demonstrated his recipes in various TV shows and YouTube channels. Palak is excited with his journey so far and wants to explore the culinary world. He feels the scope of learning is so vast that one life may not be enough. An interesting cuisine prepared by a roadside vendor excites him as much as a cuisine prepared by a chef in a top-rated hotel. Apart from cooking, he loves to travel, listen to music, and try recipes from various cuisines.
